Caroljoy Green - 2025

Caroljoy Green has been teaching Speech Arts and Drama classes for many years to students from pre-schoolers to seniors.  She feels passionately about helping a student be empowered to develop their voice and "shine"!  Her classes focus on skills developed through drama games and private lessons which lead to performances in both local and provincial festivals, where students share poetry, prose, story-telling, scenes, Shakespeare and more.  She equips many of her students to grow their skills by preparing for RCM Speech Arts & Drama practical and theory exams. 

She helps elementary classrooms prepare choral speaking pieces for the Prince George Speech Arts & Drama Festival, and her students have gone on to win in Provincial competition with Performing Arts BC.  She enjoys the opportunity to encourage and inspire students and recognize excellence via adjudicating Speech Arts & Drama festivals.

Mrs. Green also serves as the High School Drama Teacher at Cedars Christian School and her students have performed “Anne of Green Gables,” “A Christmas Carol,” “It’s a Wonderful Life,” “Twelfth Night, and “The Giver” among other plays.

She holds a BA in Philosophy, Cum Laude, from Wheaton College, Wheaton, IL and has only 2 RCM Theory courses and a written test left in order to complete her RCM Teachers ARCT.

 In her free time, she enjoys matcha lattes, reading, and music.
